The suspension on a vehicle can be detailed to original factory specs or modified using any of the new suspension kits offered today to make your dream car handle and ride better than the day it came off the assembly line.
In addition to rebuilding or modifying the suspension so it performs according to the customer's wants and needs, Palmetto Restorations also goes to painstaking lengths to make sure the suspension has the factory look and will last for a long time. Since a lot of the suspension parts on muscle and classic cars were bare metal when they left the factory, they rusted over time. Today, this rust is not acceptable when you restore a car, so Palmetto Restorations has spent a tremendous amount of time testing different paints and plating processes. The goals are to rebuild a piece so that it will never rust and will last for many years. And, the suspension should look like bare metal — not like a suspension that has been painted or plated.
