Palmetto Restorations Rebuilding the Muscle

Clients

The Palmetto Restorations customer list ranges from SC to Jamaica and includes many types of car owners. A car owner may have a huge collection of automobiles, or the car owner may have just made his first classic purchase with the addition of a single Shelby. However, all these customers have one thing in common — they are all car fanatics and most love to talk "shop." This same love of cars (some people actually call it an illness or an addiction) is true with the Palmetto Restorations owner and employees — they just can't get enough muscles and classics.

To give you a better idea of the Palmetto Restorations operations, below are a few customer stories discussing recent restorations and results. In order to preserve the privacy of our customers, Palmetto Restorations is simply identifying clients by their first name.

Tony — "I want my dream car"

Car:1967 Shelby Mustang GT 500
Project:Partial restoration
Scope:Tony took a rolling shell with nothing in it to Palmetto Restorations. Palmetto Restorations finished the job and put everything back like it was in 1967, restoring and replacing parts as necessary. "They made the car proper."

Tony knew he had found the right shop to restore his Shelby when he met Palmetto Restorations owner Chad Odom. "Chad is a classic and muscle car fanatic. When it comes to Mustangs and Shelbys, there is no one that knows them better."

This skill set was very important to Tony who was looking for someone to build his dream car. "I wanted my car done properly, and I wanted it done to original specs. And it was important for me to feel 100% comfortable with the owner, the employees, and the facility. After all, this is my dream car and I didn't want to take any risks."

Palmetto Restorations has a true top-notch facility; it is even air conditioned. "Chad runs a tight ship and made sure my needs were met. I wanted everything done to the original specs with a few minor modifications. What I asked for is exactly what I got."

Tony also has a 1967 Mustang Fastback that he plans to take to Palmetto Restorations this summer. "My goal for this car is to turn it into a good driver and one that can be parked without worry. I'll definitely work with Chad again — he's in the business for the car, and I know my car will be done properly and handled with the utmost professionalism." And, then there's the icing on the cake. "I know I chose the right vendor when his dream car is my dream car."

Nick — "I want a driver"

Car:1969 SS Camaro Convertible
Project:100% rotisserie restoration
Scope:Nick brought in a worn out car and wanted to turn it into a show quality car that he could drive. Palmetto Restorations performed a rotisserie nut and bolt restoration.

Nick is a car enthusiast. He loves his cars and had three requirements when he brought his car to Palmetto Restorations. "I want my car to look cool, sound cool, and be fun to drive." Very clearly put, he wanted a driver and he wanted to spin the tires and go fast!

When asking Nick why he selected Palmetto Restorations over other shops, he said it came down to the Palmetto Restorations owner and his staff. "They are immaculate, perfectionists, and fanatics when it comes to cars. When they rebuild a car, it looks like it just came off the assembly line."

Nick is also aligned with Palmetto Restorations' principle of taking the time to do things right. "I respect that owner Chad Odom isn't in the business to make a quick buck. He's not into shortcut jobs or those done halfway. He wants the vehicle to look right and is looking for customers who will spend money on a proper and quality restoration. The bottom line is that he's here to make your dreams."
